Gainward debuts single-PCB GeForce GTX 295

Posted on Wednesday, June 17 2009 @ 15:57:30 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Just like several other VGA card makers, Gainward introduced a new single-PCB version of the GeForce GTX 295 graphics card. This model has 576MHz cores, 1242MHz shaders and 1792MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2016MHz. The card will ship later this month for around 450EUR.
Going for uber-simplicity, Gainward has not changed Nvidia's design so the new card has GPU, shader and memory clocks of 576, 1242 and 2016 MHz, respectively, 480 Processing Cores, a 2x448-bit memory interface, DirectX 10 support and PhysX, CUDA capabilities.
