DV Hardware's weekly Christmas and New Year ideas

Posted on Sunday, December 19 2004 @ 02:08:45 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

X-mas and New Year is coming up next week and probably most of you are still looking for some nice gifts. Here are some ideas

  • One of Apple's nifty mini Ipods or the Creative Zen Micro 5 GB MP3 Player. And if you're extremely generous a Apple 40 GB iPod.
  • The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy featuring 12 DVD discs! This includes all Extended Editions and a bunch of extras.
  • The superb Logitech MX1000 mouse. I have one of these and it's one of the best mice I ever had. Or you could go for the Logitech MX700 which is a lot cheaper.
  • Or maybe a good computer game like Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Rome: Total War, The Sims 2.
  • A 5-Megapixel digital camera like the Canon PowerShot S500, HP Photosmart R707
  • A mobile phone like the Sony Ericsson T616 or maybe the Nokia N-Gage QD to play a few games on.
  • Or a set of good books for your children like the Harry Potter Paperback Boxed Set (Books 1-5). Or maybe a pre-order of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince .
  • Or maybe a few goodies for your own like a HDTV; Toshiba 30HF84 30" TheaterWide HD-Ready Flat-Screen TV, Sony XS Series KDE-37XS955 37" Widescreen HDTV-Ready Flat-Panel Plasma TV, Sony KE42TS2 42" WEGA HDTV Integrated Flat Panel Plasma TV.
  • Or something like the PalmOne Zire 31 Handheld.

More will Christmas idea follow later.
