Acer prepping three touch-enabled Windows 7 netbooks

Posted on Friday, August 14 2009 @ 23:28:08 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

DigiTimes reports Acer will release three Windows 7 netbooks with touchscreens:
Acer plans to launch three touch-enabled products with Windows 7, according to a project manager from the company's mobile computer department. The manager, Shih Hung-wu (transliterated from Chinese), also said touch-enabled netbooks may see good market acceptance if they are to be marketed as cheaper alternatives to tablet PCs.
