MSI prepping AMD Athlon Neo based Wind12 U210

Posted on Saturday, August 22 2009 @ 15:28:03 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Netbook Italia writes MSI is prepping two AMD Athlon Neo based ultraportable notebooks; the 399EUR Wind U210-002 and 449EUR Wind U210-010. Both models use the AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processor and feature a 12.1" LCD display, ATI Mobility Radeon X1250 integrated graphics, 802.11b/g WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and more.

    The difference between the two models is that the Wind U210-002 has 1GB DDR2 and a 160GB 5400RPM HDD, while the Wind U210-010 has 2GB DDR2 and a 250GB HDD. Both systems measure 297mm x 190mm x 31mm and weigh 1.5kg.

If you're more an Intel boy you might be interested in the Wind12 U200, that's the Intel ULV counterpart of this Athlon Neo based notebook.
