ASRock P55 Deluxe supports LGA775 coolers

Posted on Monday, August 31 2009 @ 18:54:33 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

The Tech Report writes the upcoming ASRock P55 Deluxe motherboard will have mounting holes for both LGA775 and LGA1156 processor heatsinks.
ASRock has a reputation for unusual designs, of course, like motherboards with two socket types or support for new CPUs on old chipsets. This design is almost tame by comparison. OCWorkbench's photos show the P55 Deluxe has its LGA1156 mounting holes positioned normally around the socket, while the LGA775 holes are rotated slightly.
