Intel to start shipping C0 steping 915P and 915G chipsets in March

Posted on Monday, January 03 2005 @ 20:50:37 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

New versions of Intel's 915P and 915G chipsets will be launched in March. These will feature ICH6 soutbridges with C0 stepping.

The new C0 stepping will offer enhanced stability of data transmission for the USB and Serial ATA interfaces, according to DigiTime's sources.

The core of the 925X and E7221 chipset will stay the same.
