    NVIDIA shows off 8.9-inch Tegra-based smartbook

    DigiTimes reports NVIDIA has showcased a 8.9" Tegra-based smartbook from Mobinnova, this device is capable of playing HD video and promises a long battery life.
    Nvidia has showcased a Tegra-based 8.9-inch smartbook designed by Mobinnova and manufactured by Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry). The smartbook has already received orders from telecom service providers in Europe and North America and will appear on the market before the end of 2009.

    In addition to the Foxconn smartbook, one made by Compal Communication is also expected to appear in the channel before the end of 2009.

    netbook, notebook, smartbook.. The industry is having a real fit - trying to make something new just for the sake of making something. Vibrating back and forth, fretting here and there. Going to and fro..
