    Sony planning to buy LCD plant from Chi Mei

    Sony Corp said it is in talks to buy a Japanese liquid crystal display (LCD) plant from Taiwan's Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp.

    Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp is a Taiwanese manufacturer of thin-film-transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels.
