Barnes & Nobles eReader gets pictured

Posted on Wednesday, October 14 2009 @ 21:24:46 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Gizmodo got their hands on a couple of photos of the upcoming eReader from Barnes & Nobles. This device is expected to be introduced next Tuesday, it features a black & white e-ink screen and also has a multitouch color display. The site says these eReaders have been under development for years and that we can expect several devices of varying size and capability.

The eReader reportedly has support for Google Books, and another interesting aspect is that Barns & Noble's plans to sell the books it also publishes at a steep discount compared to the print editions.
