Apple iPod to play videos with Nyko's MoviePlayer
| |
Posted on Sunday, January 09 2005 @ 22:37:10 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck |
At the CES in Las Vegas, Nyko Technologies announced an iPod peripheral which gives users the ability to play videos stored on their iPod on a 3.5" display. This device is dubed MoviePlayer - very original - and will be released in spring 2005.
The MoviePlayer will connect to the iPod via the dock connector and draw upon its storage capabilities, delivering video playback on a 3.5", 16-bit TFT display as opposed to the small, monochrome display of the iPod itself. The accessory also includes built-in stereo speakers, although whether users will be able to utilize headphones is still unclear.
