Samsung shows off 3mm thin 40-inch LED-backlit TV

Akihabara News writes Samsung has shown off world's slimmest 40" LCD TV panel, this LED-backlit model has a thickness of just 3mm. It supports 120Hz and has a contrast ratio of 5,000:1.

Of course Samsung will tell you the tech isn't ready yet, but here it is in a TV. So I guess the "tech is ready" but "Samsung is not ready"
