NVIDIA to reveal new switchable graphics technology in January 2010

Posted on Monday, November 02 2009 @ 13:08:32 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

FUD Zilla reports NVIDIA will introduce next-generation switchable graphics technology around CES time. The site says the new version works really well and will get NVIDIA a lot of design wins.
Big Nvidia supporters such as Asus, Acer, Dell and many others asked Intel to get Nvidia 40nm chips inside of its designs and we were told to expect many Calpella designs to have Nvidia graphics.

Arrandale 32nm dual-core with graphics might be very popular due its low TDP and we guess that Nvidia with its switchable graphics might be in a lot of these designs. So far ATI still haven’t launch its 40nm DirectX 11 mobile hardware and the RV740 based 40nm mobile chip still has to be seen on the market.
