Google rolls out Chrome 4 beta

Posted on Tuesday, November 03 2009 @ 19:19:06 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Google has published a beta version of Chrome 4.0, people interested in testing it can grab the browser over here. One of the new features in this beta is bookmark syncing between multiple computers, as well as many performance improvements.
Once you've activated Google Chrome bookmark sync on each of your computers, any changes you make to your bookmarks will appear on all synced computers in just a few seconds. (For those of you who are curious, this bit of magic is made possible by the same XMPP-based servers that power Google Talk).
