FUD Zilla reports AMD will introduce support for USB 3.0 with Hudson, but unfortunately this southbridge won't arrive until 2011. This chipset is part of the Lynx platform for the mainstream desktop market that will also feature the LIano Fusion processor.
In 2010 AMD plans to launch SB850 and this chipset has support for 14 USB 2.0 ports and if board manufacturers would like to have USB3.0 with these chipsets, they will have to buy Marvell or similar chip to get the support.

In 2011 with Lynx and Llano, the game changes as the USB 3.0 will be inside Hudson D2 Southbridge as well as 6Gbs SATA support.
