Logitech MX518 - the new gaming mouse?

The Inq has posted an upclose shot of Logitech's new gaming mouse, the MX518.
Word from the field from people who have had them for a while says they are every bit as good as you would expect, and are a great leap up from the last gaming mouse line. They also, to me anyway, look really sharp, the new patterns are elegant, but I am not so sure about the bright orange logo.
