Accelenation has reviewed Samsung's 171P,
a 17 inch LCD monitor :

If you’ve been holding back to buy an LCD till they improve in terms of gaming, the 171P might be what you’re looking for. For the past 1.5 months that I’ve been using this LCD, I have to say it’s one of the best looking LCD monitors I’ve ever used. The image quality is amazing; everyone that I know that has come across the 171P loves it.
In conclusion the 171P is a very nice LCD that produces a vibrant and vivid display. I have no problem recommending this display to anyone in the market for a high end LCD display. For a street price of $899 Street and $856 as reported on Price watch, the 171P is not a cheap LCD. Nonetheless, with it being a Digital LCD, it is priced competitively among the other Digital LCD displays. If you’re looking at 17inch LCD monitors, the 171P should not be overlooked. If 17inch is a little bit big and pricey, Samsung offers the 15inch 151P for $529 Street and can be found on Price watch for $475.
