Messenger Plus! 3.50 to be released in March

Posted on Friday, February 11 2005 @ 17:08:12 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Soon Messenger Plus! 3.50 will be released and this version will be 100% compatible with the final version of MSN Messenger 7.0 - which is planned in April. Messenger Plus! 3.50 will be similar to previous versions but the "hide advertising banner" option will be gone because the creators felt that Microsoft has the right to generate some money through advertising with their software.

Some other changes include the SSL support for POP3 E-mails (like Gmail), less memory and sytem resource usage, various user interface improvements, improved custom contact names feature, custom emoticon sounds and more..
I hope you will all feel the same when this version will be finally released in March. It took me two months of work to create the Custom Sounds which is a lot more than the time I spent on anything else in Messenger Plus! since its creation. This feature has been made to be fun, just and only fun, no geeky feature attached.
