OCZ Vertex 2 and Agility 2 SSDs launched

OCZ officially introduced its Vertex 2 and Agility 2, two new solid state diks that use the SandForce SF-1500 and SF-1200, respectively. The Vertex 2 is the fastest of the two, it promises a max read speed of 285MB/s, max write speed of 275MB/s, sustained write of 250MB/s and 50,000 random write 4k IOPS. The disk will ship in 50GB, 100GB and 200GB capacity. The Agility 2 is available in the same capacities and has exactly the same read/write speeds, but it offers only 10,000 random write 4k IOPS. Both models support TRIM and feature a three year warranty.
