    NVIDIA aims at 40% of notebook GPU market with GeForce Go 6600

    NVIDIA hopes to conquer 40% of the notebook GPU market by the first quarter of 2006 with its new GeForce Go 6600 mobile GPU.
    Rob Csongor, senior director of mobile computing products at Nvidia, said at a press conference in Taiwan yesterday that the new mobile GPU series supports such technologies as DirectX9, Shader Model 3.0 and PureVideo.
