Pentium M to be the future for desktop computers

Intel said at the IDF that in the future common home and garden PCs will be replaced by Pentium M based systems.
The firm showed off one or two reference designs here at IDF, including a rather snazzy slim thing, pictured below. This one has got a DVD built into the front of the unit, and the usual IO suspects at the back.
