Taiwanese top-four shipped 6.69 million motherboards in February 2005

Posted on Friday, March 11 2005 @ 22:02:33 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

The four greatest Taiwanese motherboard makers shipped a total of 6.69 million motherboards during February. This includes the following firms: Asus, ECS, Gigabyte and MSI.

The companies shipped 13.1% less motherboards last month compared to January, in which they shipped 7.70 million units.

The decline was mainly due to weaker demand from clone markets in the US and Europe.
