Posted on Monday, July 12 2010 @ 12:11:35 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Maingear sends out word that they're now shipping gaming PCs with NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 460 graphics card.
MAINGEAR, an award-winning PC system builder offering custom desktops, notebooks, workstations and media centers, has just added the new NVIDIA® GeForceTM GTX 460 graphics solution to their already cranked up desktop offering. The little brother of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 packs a punch with its performance in single or SLI TM multi-GPU mode while still offering an affordable solution to those PC enthusiasts whose budget may be a little tight.

With less power consumption and heat generation, this card is primed for gamers worldwide. MAINGEAR's SHIFT, F131, Vybe and X-Cube will sport the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 that gives a winning performance DirectX11 gaming experience. The GTX 460 includes 336 CUDA cores and a core clocked at 675MHZ.

"MAINGEAR and NVIDIA hit the gamer sweet spot with new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460," said Wallace Santos, CEO and Founder of MAINGEAR. "This kick-ass card in MAINGEAR systems sets a new standard giving gamers and PC enthusiasts what they want and performance that is worth every penny."

"MAINGEAR customers are always looking for the perfect combination of performance and reliability, and with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 as a solid affordable solution, MAINGEAR is offering a differentiating and compelling option for PC gamers and enthusiast," said Drew Henry, general manager of GPU business at NVIDIA.

All of MAINGEAR products are supported with lifetime labor and phone support with one to three year hardware warranty.
