Posted on Monday, March 21 2005 @ 12:37:20 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Yahoo has made an agreement to buy both the Ludicorp Research & Development Ltd. and the popular photo-sharing website Flickr.

Flickr is a service which allows user to put photo albums on the web. The service will remain the same but Yahoo's competing Yahoo Photos will receive some additional features from Flickr.

Yahoo confirmed the acquirement of Flickr but denied to give any financial details.
