Yahoo buys photo-sharing service Flickr

Yahoo announced the acquirement of Flickr - an online photo-sharing service. The Flickr team stated that they will continue working on the service to release version 1.0.
Once Version 1.0 is completed later this year, the Flickr team will move to Yahoo's Sunnyvale, Calif., headquarters and work more closely with Yahoo's services, Stevens said.
