Review : Leadtek WinFast K7N415DA (nForce chipset)

Posted on Wednesday, September 25 2002 @ 05:45:58 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Tech PC has reviewed the new Leadtek WinFast K7N415DA, witch has a nForce chipset :
The board was easy to setup and was faultless during the tests.

The performance tests clearly show that this motherboard is a good all round performer. In most tests the scores were exactly where you would expect them to be. PC Mark placed the board in amongst many other XP1600's.

The board comes into its own when overclocked. The only drawback is that the maximum front side bus is limited to 157. Hopefully Leadtek will provide an updated bios and windows software that works in the near future.

The board excels in the quality of its on-board components. The built in LAN and audio are of the highest quality.

All in all an excellent choice of motherboard if you are looking for an all round performer that is very easy to setup.
