Yahoo to offer 1GB of storage for its webmail users

Posted on Wednesday, March 23 2005 @ 14:27:50 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Yahoo announced today that it will start offering 1GB of storage to users of its free webmail service - so they will be able to store four times as much as now.

The company said it will begin upgrading the storage at the end of next month and that it will take about two weeks before everyone will have 1GB available.

And another new feature for free users will be the ability to remove viruses from attachments.
