    Review : Chaintech 7VJL Apogee

Posted on Wednesday, September 25 2002 @ 13:27:24 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Bench House has reviewed Chaintech's 7VJL Apogee :
In the end, we have to judge whether Apogee 7VJL is worthy of the name it bears, as the word Apogee means maximum, pinnacle, culmination. With this model, Chaintech started a new chapter in its history and started on the right path towards creating motherboards with top features and performance. Although they have not fully succeeded in that, we can say that we are very pleased with what Chaintech Apogee 7VJL offers for the money invested. For some 110 euros, which is what you have to pay for this board, you get an extremely rich bundle with a board that really offers a lot. It’s true that its performance is lower at default clock speed than on the fastest models, but it offers additional overclocking possibilities, which can make up for the mentioned difference, maybe even offer more than that. Because of all the things we mentioned, we can recommend this motherboard to everyone looking for good performance, strong overclocking options, a rich bundle and all this at a very affordable price...
