Posted on Tuesday, April 12 2005 @ 18:22:41 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Apple said it will launch Mac OS X version 10.4 on April 29. This version, which is dubbed Tiger, will contain more than 200 new features.

One of the new features is Spotlight, a desktop search tool. Another new tool is Dashboard which will give users access to all kinds of information such as airline flights, currency converters, weather forecasts and more.

Mac OS X Tiger can be pre-ordered at Amazon for $94.99 with a rebate.
