Macromedia launches Breeze 5 with VoIP support

Posted on Monday, May 02 2005 @ 23:22:44 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Macromedia today updated its Web conferencing application Breeze to version 5 which features new Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) capabilities. In addition Breeze 5 also features the ability to do on-demand video and real-time, multipoint video conferencing.
The platform is designed to support large-scale events for up to 2,000 participants and includes a wizard-based directory, single sign-on support through NTLM (define) or other custom-authentication technology. The platform comes with new APIs (define) and software development kits, so companies can customize their applications.
