Lenovo is the best known Chinese computer maker but there are also other firms in China that produce original products. VR Zone came across the P13 from Shenzhen-based Phecda, a 13.3" ultraportable netbook powered by NVIDIA's ION2 platform.

The Phecda P13 has a thin design and has an aluminium body instead of cheap, generic plastic. The system is powered by an Intel Atom D525 dual-core processor, it uses the NVIDIA ION2 platform with GT218 GPU and 512MB memory and is equipped with a 1366 x 768 pixel screen. Other features include 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 1.3MP webcam, 5-in-1 memory card reader, VGA and HDMI outputs, and Windows 7 Ultimate.

The battery life is disappointing though, the included 2200mAh li-ion battery promises only 2 hours of usage. In China the Phecda P13 can be bought for the equivalent of US$365.
