WMPoweruser reports prices of Windows Phone 7 devices are dropping hard in Europe. The site notes the price of Samsung's Omnia 7 has dropped by a whopping 200EUR compared to just a couple of months ago, which seems to suggest that these units aren't selling too well.
In Europe we are used to paying quite a bit for our phones, so seeing the Samsung Omnia 7 for only 306 Euro including all taxes and without a carrier contract is quite a shock. It appears to be across OEMs, with the HTC HD7 only 316 Euro on Amazon Germany.

The price drop is not just confined to Amazon however, with Mobilfunk is offering even deeper cuts on what is really the best regarded Windows Phone. Even Expansys has dropped the Omnia 7 by £125.
