All three boards feature support for Sandy Bridge processors, for LucidLogix's Virtu software (enabling real-time graphics switching), and the Smart Response Technology aka SSD Caching which allows for the pairing up of an SSD and one (or more) HDDs in a hybrid setup, and includes multiple display outputs - D-Sub, DVI and HDMI (the Z68 Extreme4 and Z68 Pro3-M also include a DisplayPort output).
The Z68 motherboards also come with four DDR3-2133 memory slots, two (four on the Extreme4) SATA 6.0 Gbps and four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, USB 3.0 connectors (the Extreme4 includes an USB 3.0 header too), UEFI BIOS, the Combo Cooler Option (enables the use of LGA775/1155/1156 coolers), and the XFast USB technology for higher USB 3.0 transfer speeds.
