    Review : ABIT GF4 Ti 4200 OTES

Posted on Monday, September 30 2002 @ 09:25:13 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

    [H]ardOCP has made another review,
This time of the ABIT GF4 Ti 4200 OTES :
ABIT also claims that with this cooling system the card itself will remain cooler, more stable and will in turn have a longer life, especially if you have it overclocked. ABIT should be commended for the attention and detail they put into this card. The OTES cooling system itself on the ABIT Siluro GF4 Ti 4200 is how heatpipe technology should be done. I would definitely like to see more of this happening on video cards with the increasing heat these GPU’s/VPU’s are creating. One more point that is also worth mentioning is the 2D quality on this video card. I was actually surprised when I used this card at how vibrant and bright the image output on this card is. They must have used some very high quality 2D filters because this is some of the best image quality output I have seen, right up there with ATI. In fact I would say this card is dead even with ATI in that field. So ABIT has a definite winner on their hands for a gamer’s hardcore card. Kudos to ABIT for making such a unique card, and doing it right
