Fortnight to be first Unreal Engine 4 game

Posted on Friday, July 13 2012 @ 22:13:53 CEST by

Epic Games revealed that Fortnight will be the first game to use the new Unreal Engine 4 game engine. The game is primarily intended for the PC, with releases on next-gen consoles expected at some point in the future, you can expect in on retail shelves in 2014.
The game will arrive next year, and it is billed as a PC co-op survival game where players scavenge for items within the environment to obtain food and resources to build a shelter to keep the zombies out. At night, players will defend their outpost and during the day they will look to build upon it.
