VR Zone came across rumored specifications of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 650 Ti, an upcoming sub-$250 or sub-$200 card that is anticipated to hit the market in Q4 2012. The card reportedly has 960 CUDA cores, a 192-bit memory bus, and 1GB/2GB GDDR5 memory options.
NVIDIA will seat the amounts of memory on the odd-sized memory interface by making a few chips share 32-bit wide paths meant for single chips (à la GeForce GTX 550 Ti).
Interestingly, NVIDIA is in no hurry to launch the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. The company's Summer-Autumn launch schedule begins with the GeForce GTX 660 Ti, followed by GeForce GTX 660, which are based on GK104 and GeForce GTX/S 650, which is based on the GK107, which arrive some time in August-September. The GeForce GTX 650 Ti will stroll its way to the market in Q4-2012 (October-December).
