One week from now Apple will publish iOS 6. This update will be available for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, the iPad 2, the new iPad and the iPod touch v4 (2010). Older devices will not be able to update to the new mobile operating system.
Apple's iOS 6 promises better Facebook integration, improvements for Safari, a new maps app (no longer based on Google Maps), a Passbook app for concert/event tickets and loyalty cards, as well as other enhancements.
