German tech site Heise claims NVIDIA has selected October 9 as the launch date for its mainstream GeForce GTX 650 Ti graphics card.
The new report makes no mention of the card's specifications, but according to previous rumors, this 28nm GK106 based graphics card may feature 576 CUDA cores, a 128-bit memory bus and 2GB GDDR5 memory.
The GeForce GTX 650 Ti is intended to close the gap between the GeForce GTX 650 (110EUR) and GeForce GTX 660 (200EUR). Performance-wise the new card may place itself between AMD's Radeon HD 7770 and Radeon HD 7850.
