Spire introduces the X2.6011, a new steel case with an aluminium all-mesh front panel. The case has three 5.25" drive bays, eight 3.5" bays, supports graphics cards as long as 430mm, room for up to six 120mm fans, a I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and HD audio ports, a built-in three-channel fan controller, and the usual tool-free and cable management features. The case is shipping for $178.95 (139.95EUR).
The X2.6011 is the newest addition to the Spire X2 product range. Built with 0.8mm steel maximum performance and computing satisfaction. Every element of the case has been engineered to provide maximum cooling performance. Up to six large 12cm fans can be placed throughout the X2.6011 ensuring unbeatable cooling. The pre-installed dust filters limit the amount of dust that gets sucked into the case. The spacious internal design enables flexible assembly and sufficient room for the installation of water-cooling.
The chassis provides good cable management capabilities and is pre-applied with rubber grommet holes for feeding the external water-cooling tubes. 3 removable front bezels can accommodate 3 x 5.25 inch drive bays. Two removable drive cages with direct cooling and tool free mounting provide adequate space, fitting up to a total of eight (8) hard disc drives.
