ASUS ROG ARES II dual-Radeon HD 7970 hits the market

ASUS reveals the ARES II, world's most powerful graphics card. This new extreme graphics card features two overclocked Radeon HD 7970 GPUs and comes with a sealed-liquid cooling solution. The card's GPUs have a 1050MHz base clock, 1100MHz boost clock, and 6GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 6600MHz. ASUS claims the card runs 13 percent faster and 31°C cooler than the reference GeForce GTX 690.

Only 1,000 units will be made and the pricing is a whopping $1,599.
