NVIDIA GeForce Titan 780 faster than a GTX 690?

Posted on Thursday, January 31 2013 @ 19:21:00 CET by

TechPowerUp came across a benchmark shot that supposedly shows off the performance of NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce Titan 780 flagship. The leaked 3DMark 11 Xtreme Preset screenshot reveals the card scores X7107 points! Quite impressive considering a GeForce GTX 680 scores around X3300 and a GeForce GTX 690 usually hits around X6000 points.

If something sounds too good to be true it usually is, so takes this news with a grain of salt. A firm launch date for the GeForce Titan 780 is still unknown, but according to some reports it may be as soon as February.
