HTC promises new sound and camera experience for smartphones

A couple of years ago HTC was a rising star but these days the company is struggling to get back on track. One of the company's latest technologies is a "new sound and camera experience" for smartphones, it will be shown off at a press event on February 19 in both New York City and London instead of attending the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona.
In an infographic released on its website, HTC pokes fun at some of its major rivals – such as Apple and Nokia – and the lack of advancements made in the smartphone camera realm. The infographic hints that the announcement won't simply relate to a camera capable of taking higher resolution pictures, however. HTC mentions the fact that the iPhone 4S didn't feature an increased image sensor size, despite improving its camera, possibly hinting at its plans.
