Windows Vista and IE7 betas leaked

Posted on Saturday, July 30 2005 @ 02:04:58 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7 are still beta but thousands of people already want to check out these programs so it was to be expected that leaked versions would appear on the Internet soon after Microsoft released the beta software to more than 10,000 beta testers.

The Windows Vista Beta 1 uses the same activation technology as Windows XP, but BetaNews reports cracked versions are already floating on the Internet.

The Windows Vista download is quite big, it's 2.5GB, but this doesn't stop pirates from spreading the OS.
