ATI to launch CrossFire by September 15th

Posted on Tuesday, August 23 2005 @ 10:20:18 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

ATI has postponed the CrossFire platform once more and it seems it will finally introduced by the mid of September.
ATI should announce Crossfire around 15th of September and date could not be better for the motherboard and graphic card manufacturers as it will give them more time to prepare their retail products for the launch.

You can expect that motherboards will be available as soon as ATI launches the architecture and master cards will be available as well. We are not sure about quantities of master card that AATI can provide until that time but the boys are doing its best.
Master cards of the X850 and X800XL will be unveiled. More info at The Inquirer
