Patch Tuesday: Microsoft patches six critical security bugs

As part of the December edition of Patch Tuesday, Microsoft rolled out a total of 12 security bulletins to fix holes in Windows, Office, .NET, Adobe Flash, Internet Explorer and Edge.

An overview with details about all of the patches can be found at this page. A total of six updates were marked as critical, they fix flaws in Internet Explorer, Edge, the Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Uniscribe, and Office. The last critical patch comes from Adobe, it plugs some holes in the leak-as-a-sieve Flash Player.
