AMD teases Ryzen Threadripper 16-core, 32-thread CPU

Also at the financial analyst day, AMD showed a brief teaser video of the upcoming Ryzen Threadripper product for the high-end desktop market. More details will be revealed at Computex but AMD basically confirmed the rumors that Threadripper will offer up to 16 cores and 32 threads.



We also learned the Naples server processor will be marketed as EPYC. Additionally, AMD said the Ryzen 3 CPUs are on track for Q3 2017 and that Ryzen Mobile consumer processors with integrated Vega-based graphics will also ship in Q3 2017.
