Apple to launch iTunes phone next week?

Apple has indicated a major announcement will follow next week. The company invitated journalists for a special event on September 7 in San Francisco and refers to a message from a couple of years ago.
Apple's invitation states "1,000 in your pocket changed everything. Here wo go again."
It isn't sure what Apple will introduce next week but I guess it may be the highly anticipated iTunes phone which was developed together with Motorola.
