Microsoft names Windows Vista, IE7 and Office 12 launch date

Posted on Wednesday, August 31 2005 @ 10:11:57 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

A French journalist talked with Microsoft France and learned about the release dates of Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 and Office 12.

By the first week of December we can expect the second beta version of Windows Vista. This release will feature many graphical enhancements along with new features and higher stability.

The final version of Windows Vista is slated for late September or early October of 2006

The second beta version of IE7 will be launched by late September and the final IE7 should arrive in the first week of December.

And Office 12 will start selling a few weeks before the launch of Windows Vista.
