Take it with a grain of salt but some specifications of the rumored GeForce GTX 1070 Ti video card leaked in Asia. VideoCardz translated the info and reports it looks like the GTX 1070 Ti may be just a little bit slower than the GeForce GTX 1080.

The leaked specifications point to 2432 CUDA cores, which would be just 128 CUDA cores fewer than the 1080.

The base and boost clockspeed will reportedly be the same as the GeForce GTX 1080, but the memory speed will be lower as it uses GDDR5 instead of GDDR5X.

Pricing is anticipated to be about 500 yuan less than the GeForce GTX 1080, which translates to about $75 less. The site mentions the Halloween period as a possible launch date, but this could be based on an alternative interpretation of the It video card poster from Gigabyte;
