Intel Yonah to arrive sooner than planned, Whitefield and Dunnington delayed

The Inq has some good and bad news from Intel.

The good news appears to be that Yonah will arrive more than a month sooner than planned. Instead of mid to late February it will now come by early January.

The bad news is that Intel's Whitefield has been delayed from the first half of 2007 to the second half of 2007. But it isn't certain how many days, weeks or maybe months later this processor will arrive. And Dunnington, the eight core Whitefield successor will likely face a similar delay.
Hopefully Dunnington won't be having the same CSI integration problems we keep hearing about with Whitefield, in fact, we hope these problems get ironed out soon. Intel needs this interconnect yesterday, and each day of delay will hurt. Even if it ends up being a little less than optimal, it is a lot better than the current bus
