Remember how NVIDIA stunned the computer enthusiast community with the unexpected launch of the Titan V? We hadn't heard a single rumor about this card, which was definitely very unusual. In recent years, very little details leaked about future NVIDIA GPUs, it seems the company managed to squeeze out a lot of moles.

One snippet in Reuter's report about NVIDIA's fourth-quarter results went unnoticed until TPU picked it up this afternoon. The news agency heard rumors that NVIDIA is working on Turing, a new gaming GPU that will be revealed next month:
Analysts also say Nvidia’s competitive advantage is only likely to increase when it moves its Volta chip architecture, launched last year and only currently present in data-center GPUs, into gaming chips later this year.

The new GPU gaming chip, code named Turing, is expected to be unveiled next month.
At the moment, we know absolutely zero about this "Turing" chip. Maybe this is what we've known as Ampere?
